BOY21 40 BOOK GIVEAWAY!!!!!

Attention librarians, teachers, community leaders, and everyone interested in giving teens free books!

In honor of the June 18th release of the BOY21 paperback edition, I am giving away two boxes that each contain 20 *SIGNED* hardback editions of BOY21. Tucked inside each copy will be a super-mega bonus FORGIVE ME, LEONARD PEACOCK sticker that can be used as a bookmark or as an actual sticker that one may affix to something somewhere--anything, actually! Fun!

How can you win one of these amazing boxes?

To enter, you must announce this contest via some form of social media. Then send a brief e-mail--300 words or less--to my assistant, Isabel Johnson, explaining what exactly you plan to do with the twenty books and twenty stickers. (Please also include your mailing address if you'd like to be eligible for one of the secret consolation prizes. This contest is for USA residents only.)

Isabel's e-mail: Qbooking [at] yahoo.com

Hint: I would really like to gift these books to teens, particularly teens who may not otherwise have a novel to read this summer. Also pleasing--giving a group of teens a collective reading experience, i.e. some sort of teen book club where they would get to keep the book.

Isabel will pick and notify the winners on June 21st.

Let's put some good into the world, people!

Good luck!

Praise for BOY21:

“…beautiful…a first-rate work of art.” The New York Times Book Review

“Quick is a master of capturing the rawness of adolescence and the bleakness that comes from being trapped in the wrong world, whether it’s Finley’s bad neighborhood or, in the case of Boy21, Earth.” The Boston Globe

“…satisfying but never simple… A story that, like [its narrator] Finley, expresses a lot in relatively few words.” Kirkus *STARRED REVIEW*

“…an astonishing, exhilarating look at how broken lives are managed, and sometimes remade, even under the bleakest, most violent circumstances.” Barnes & Noble Review
